Hey guys -

I ordered a michy comp24 from cambria for dirt cheap. On the cambria sticker, it calls the tire "mich comp 24.1 soft DH 26x2.2 folding" - and it's a kevlar-bead tire. On the plastic michelin case it calls it a comp 24 1s - and says "cross country" on the case too.

Did I actually get a folding version of the best tire on the planet, or did I just waste 20 bucks? It looks exactly like my old michy, but can't really tell if it's the same rubber since the old tire is so dried out anyways. Anybody?

Is this the "comp 24 light" then?

So no good for rear, but looks like a pretty solid front, then.

Czech the sidewall, if it it soft (for want of a better word) then it is the XC version, good for front.

youre miserly stint has cost you the stability that a less economically savy person would have enjoyed with a proper c24.
