was considering ordering a 16 tooth to run on rear rather then 18.
just wondering if there is any diff in quality between the 18 tooth acs clawss and the 16?

I've used a 16t, works fine. It's just as strong as the 18t.

same pawls, same springs, different outer ring with a different number of teeth on it. Still breaks, still crap.

I've been running the same acs for three years. I'm told most pros run them as well. Toosicks is still running his 18t claws too as far as I know...

I broke a few. With the top cap loctited and the innard kept oily they can last a while but they're still not designed for the torque of a direct drive through a crankarm.

well after riding the 20-18 ratio on the stock tonight
i think 16 tooth will be to much torque anyways
but for 15$ cant go wrong
