i like wellgo MG-1 super lightweight good traction and you can replace the pins. but if you super hard on stuff bmx pedals are the way to go.

the Wellgo B-25 rules the world. they have lasted me forever and they are pretty light. Wellgo makes tons of other good pedals too. Check out their website for the full product line. I would stay away from painted pedals or pedals where the pins don't come out. usually not as grippy IMO

The only exception I have found to that is the Sun Zuzu. Dirt cheap and they seem pretty nice. A buddy of mine has wellgo b-67's and I don't like them very much. They are kind of slippery and the platform is just too big and flat.:dunno: I've got a set of primos and mg-1s. I like them both. The pins on the primo died, so I put some short machine screws through them. Grip on one side, grind on the other.

[ what that guy said. zuzu's are awsome, grippy, cheap, and have sealed bearings. Jensonusa.com has them for 30 bucks. BTW, wear shinpads. Always.

If you need to wear shinpads, your pedals are not good enough.

Wellgo mg-1s are about as grippy as a pedal needs to be, and lighter than VPs. You can sometimes get them on sale for $20, too. I run VPs. They work.

also brian rides with galic bread in his pocket at all times.
u see teh garlic has this magnetic gripping power
this is obsorbed through the legs and into the peddle
this is how he achieves maximum grip.

i think easton made some nice pedals that were hella light too.
just pick up som vp's

RIGHT!! You should not have to wear shinguards..... a good Atomlab Trailking low profile pedal will never slip and bite ya!

i've been riding these pedals for 3 years of freeriding and another 3 of trials, and they are still as grippy as the day i got them. not to mention they havn't lost a pin yet.

I think shoes also have alot to do with it. Speaking of which, I need some new ones, as I was informed trials is best not done in long distance running shoes:wtc: I'm gonna miss you, Asics.

Yeah I did the long distance running shoe thing for a while. Painful.

Nike SBs for the win

those kore pedals are insane...imaging the blood if you somehow managed to slip off them and give your shin a good whack...

yeah, slipping is rare with those. i usually get a good shinning once a year. twice i've had to pick skin and hair off of pins on the pedal :barf:

yeh i didnt think it would be overly easy to slip those kore pedals...
shinning yourself sucks ass, which is why i wear shin pads :P
i have really crappy pedals.

shin pads suck more than the ocassional good shinning
