I am about to head out to start the journey. Have a bag full of camera stuff, 15 dv tapes and I can't wait.

itinerary:

mar 14th - 20th paris (staying at the foot of sacre coeur)
Mar 21st - 26th greece (athens for the last 2 nights, an island for the first tw)
march 26th night- the paris hilton...I will be meeting ed gildea around 11 pm, you can find us at the bar...elan /others should all head here too because the bar is rocking, and the next morning its right next to the trainstation to go to koxx days.
koxx days 27th-apr 2nd...this is where I will get tons of footage for all you guys :) :naughty:
april 2nd and beyond- ??? exclusive riding/filming with certain french people?
April 5th- return home...which is when I move to denver, and set up base there.

New shirts and hoodies are all printed and sitting here- if you are going to koxx days I'm bringing a small amount to sell there for anyone interested. I look forward to seeing old faces and new faces...


I have my phone on...it will work internationally, 970 310 6741 just call and say what is up when you are around. I'm not sure how well it will work in buthiers or anywhere else.

Speaking of stupid, which way is Bruthiers from Paris,.. I'm looking at a map and don't see it. I thought it was near Fontainebleau?

south. pretty much due south 50-70 kms.

Fontainebleau is on the eastern side of the foret de fontainebleau and is on the SNCF train line from Paris. Buthiers is on the western side of the forest and is a pretty small village - it's about 5kms east from Malesherbes which is the terminus of the RER D train line from Paris!

Take the time to wander through Buthiers if you can - it doesn't take long. I made good friends with a horse there in '04. in some places the rocks were impossible to move (at the time) so they've been integrated into fences and sometimes form an entire wall of a house. Trippy. Save some photos for those.

I had this cool idea: I'm going to check with my mesenger friends here in Seattle to see if they know any of the companies/persons in Paris (I know, big cities, but they are tight like that) and if I can get ahold of a solid/quick beater I'll see if I can trail somebody for part of a day,.. great way to see the city eh?

I think all the messenger companies in Paris were on motorbikes - partly because of the layout of the city. My dad left a lovely peugeot in someone's attic there. I'll enquire :)
