I know it's not much at the moment but I've been making a practice area for myself (and anyone else that wants to use it)
This is located in a small section of woods right next to where I live. I'm the only one working on it, so it is taking a little longer than I was hoping. I also don't have a truck and have been basically using anything I can find. All the pallets are from a guy up the road that said I can have as many as many pallets as I want. (He has hundreds!!!) I've been putting two pallets in the trunk of my car each time I drive out that way. :D
Just to let you know... there is a small group forming in this area (Phoenixville PA which is about 1/2 hour 45 mins north of Philly) We are planning a ride for this Sunday. PM me if you are interested.
Here's some pics-

It asks for a username and password.... :dunno:
Edit: Very sweet, nice variety. As you get better you'll probably need to get some more, make things higher and scarier :)

Nice set up. I wish I had the materials to make that in my yard/woods.
There are plenty of pallets where I work, but they are all crap. I haven't seen a decent pallet around here in years. Land on one of these, and they'd crack apart. They're not worth dragging home.
Very cool place you've built!

Thanks, yeah, little by little. I have to clear out more junk and small trees before I can make the area bigger. Everything you see is basically only a weeks worth of work.
As far as bigger and scarier goes... If I had a truck I could make some really crazy stuff in no time, but I'm not really up to that level yet, and I only have enough room for two pallets in my car at a time.
Everything else you see was stuff I found in the woods that I dragged over to this area.
Funny... I looked up at the wall with a rail that runs along side this area (You can see in the pics) and said to myself.. yeah... someone in the forum would be jumping off that if they were here.:eek3:

Thanks... kinda funny cause I don't have a back yard either... I live in an apartment on a college campus and this is actually built on the college campus property! :naughty: (Shhhhh!!)
Hey... what can I say? They kept yelling at me for jumping on all of the school property, soooo I found a small section of woods down behind a wall and built this. heh heh
i see motorama inspired you in the building of the sections.

LOL ... yeah, you noticed that huh?
After watching that girl trials rider video I got some new ideas now. Some of those sections were awesome!
Eventually my wife and I want to build a park on the east coast like something you would see in Europe.
You should post this in the media section dude, the more ideas people get for this the better. Good stuff

That would be awesome. We kinda have to be sneaky but I've been getting away with it so far.:momaru:
I'll send you a PM with my cell #
As far as Green Lane goes.. we got rained out. It was perfect weather all day on Sat. and Sunday it just poured all day! :squint:
We are hoping to get something together again for this weekend.

Where do I start? Matt and I had a great time riding! A little chilly, but well worth it! Green Lane is awesome! Rocks EVERYWHERE!! Countless places to ride. Next time I go I will get some pics. If anyone is interested it is only a 1/2 hour north from where I live in Phoenixville PA.
We are looking to go again next Sunday.
On the way back from this ride I found this HUGE tractor Tire. Someone put "free on it" so I took it. (heh heh) It makes a nice addtion to this practice area.
