Hi,
I've got some news on a new 24" Street Tough Frame I thought you lot would like to see:
http://www.heatsinkbikes.com/content/3arrivals/blueside425.jpg
The "24UK"
You can read all the details (including the special introductory offer) on the following page of my website: http://www.heatsinkbikes.com/?p=24inch
I will be posting some global shipping prices up on that page in the next couple of days should anyone outside the UK want to get their hands on one of the first batch.
Also, here's some more eye candy for you :)

"Coust-Sinks"
I've now got Coust rubber in stock and it's available in Powerpad backings, CNCed Vee backings, and the CNCed Magura backings you see above. http://www.heatsinkbikes.com/?p=brakepads
All input read and digested as always!

Nice one!
I hadn't browsed OTN thoroughly enough :) At least the Coust pads info is brand new though since I've just uploaded it to my site.
The latest news on the 24UK frame is that the proud owner of the first frame picked it up today and so in a few days I'll have the first photos of the very first built up bike. I'll add these to the 24UK page asap.

Is that the geo that the first batch is going to have? Also will any distributer for heatsink be able to get those frames?
Also on your site i read the frame takes a 31.8 seatpost, Is that a typo, cause that's going to be a hard post to find or is it suposed to be a 31.6 post?

One suggestion on the frame: v-mount option. Other than that your stuff is looking great!

From my work with Vee adapters, I found that the ideal Vee mount position varies most for Trials frames compared to other riding styles. Such a variety of rim/brake arms/pads setups especially with new wider rims being 2x the width of the older ones people are reusing. I want this frame to offer the best braking set-up options for both Maggie and Vee fans, and for Vee users I aim to make a special combination offer on some new Vee adapters with horizontal adjustment bought with the frame. The Vee adapters should be available to coincide with the time that the frames are available to buy from Heatsink Dealers outside the UK which is probabily a month away. I just need to first build up stocks and keep up with UK interest during this launch period.
The Vee adapters will look something like this:
When bought with a combination offer including these new Vee mounts the frame should still be a very competitive price cheaper than most 26" Far Eastern frames.
The 31.8mm is the ID of the frame seat tube, which I believe is the most common tube size used at the moment.

Heatsink,
Sorry if this is a retarded question but can we order this stuff in the states through your websight? Coust pads on vee brakes, best thing ever.

Hi,
Hopefully I've made ordering through my website from anywhere in the world fairly easy :) Of course I encourage riders to check their local dealer first to see if they can get hold of parts quicker that way, to support them. If you prefer to order parts direct them I'm here to make it as easy as possible, and postage is typically under a week.
You can usually use the "Buy Now" button for the item, the button listed as Global delivery. This should allow you to buy using either a credit/debit card or a paypal account. Some places in the world aren't treated as secure by the Paypal online buying thingy. If anyone has any problems getting the online thingy to work, then I can also take personal cheques via the mail or money transfers (although there is usually a fee the sender has to pay which makes it not worth the cost unless a larger order is being placed)
Looking forward to getting some of these Coust pads out to some of you guys across the pond :)

MAN!!! This makes my decision on whether to get a 26" or a 24" frame even harder...PLUS the freakin vee adapters...damn! It sounds like everything i need.
oh yea that frame looks awesome...any other colors?

Wow that looks like an exact copy of Dylan Korbas design, I dunno if that's a form of flattery... or theft.

probably a form of "thanks, here it is better." notice how the heatsink ones look ambidexterous? probably custs down on cost not having to make a specific left and right. maybe that savings could be passed on to the customer... i dont know because im too lazy to check the prices. but it is a better idea if you ask me.
how much can you copy an idea as simple as turning two bolt holes into one?

Ahh could be that dylan is a good friend, or the open source side of me... but it's nice to see a little props and respect every now and then. Dylan is a local BC-Canadian pro and an amazing rider for those who don't know.

Alex makes the DX32 in 24", so you don't have to go to chrome if your thinking the bmx 24inchers are your only option.

nah i know...my opinion..dx32's are overkill
i like chrome just because of the braking performance

Your chrome isn't going to do crap in the rain, and you're not a baller trials rider if you don't ride in the rain

"coust-sinks" i thought of that name when danny burton said he was getting them :wiggle:
Ben
Coust pad refills are not available? WHY? I already have backings...
At the website I only see Heatsink pad refills.

Good news : Coust refills are now available to buy by popular demand. I'll be putting them on my website when I get a chance, but in the meantime you can drop me an email if you're interested in some.
I'll get back to everyone with more info about the 24UK frame sometime soon. It's really useful to have you guys firing questions off about the frame so I can gather everything together and get it up on the website for everyone's convenience. All the stuff that really helps riders build up frames such as BB sizes for various drivetrain set-ups etc will be added in time as will a rider's bike gallery giving ideas on build up specs.
Just to let you know that I will be away this coming week 28th of Jan to 4th of Feb, so I'll be catching up with emails on my return.
