people quit riding.

new people came into the sport thinking that big moves are all that matters.

bikes got bb's in the clouds.

the weak dollar made koxx products even more expensive.

vince came out to colorado again.

norba pooped on our chest some more.

yeah geometry wise, people are all about bikes with 50++ raised BB's and huge long stems which make people look funny while riding the bicycles.

people also forgot how to ride rocks and ride anything technical or skinny while being able to tap 56" on concrete.

i've started riding trials within the last year and have become completely obsessed with such a great discipline of mountain biking.

long wheelbases are still cool though right? I don't want my levelboss going out of style.

I made silly decisions about buying things on line?

The huge move-movement went large as said, I got upset about the level of tech riding from Kenny Belaey.

I just decided to ride my bike today out of the blue, it felt great though. I don't think i'm going to go to motorama, it's too far of a distance and i have a lot of stuff to try and relearn. :hs:

No place better to re-learn stuff than at a comp, with all of your mates to help kick your ass back into shape!;)

wow. people like to do big moves. if that's what makes them happy then good for them... telling people what to practice is only going to discourage people and divide an already small community

ugh. let's not start this argument.

the euros joined otn, that was a big one. a new influx of kk kandidates

Someone decided that all new frames should have high bb's.

Deng created 3 new companies all offering the same product...

Bright colours are in!

Joel jumped up to the top Australian class, fulfilling his primary trials ambition for the last few years. Then they introduced a new top class and I'm second from the top again. At least I got to ride the nats in elite. Now I can say I'm among the top 20 trials riders in the country which sounds impressive.

edit: Oh and there are now about 4-6 people that compete in pro.... but the 2 who made reason to creat an extra class were two guys that get 0dabs most of the time but never over 10.... and still do...

I too pretty much took last year off - I think I rode about 10 hours for the whole year. I just did not have any enthusiasm for it.

I plan on riding more this year and may look into getting a new frame - depending on how I well I am doing.

I am definitely getting back into Flatland in 06.

Santos was asking about you this past summer, all three of us should get together and so some riding this year.

i got into trials this year (well late aug. of 05). its a side of biking i always wanted to try and when i went to college i said "what the hell i will get a trials bike" and so i did. so far i'm loving it. hope to get alot better over the spring though. i have a wall that i said i would get up before the school year is over.
