Sweet Brisa stem.
I just dont get it..
why would anyone buy a kot and ride it with a rim brake? IMO there are many better frames
The only reason why I would by one -is for a rear disc brake! And I havent seen anyone riding it with a disc so far...

Because Kot is pretty cheap, compared to other frames(atleast here they are, not sure about the prices in the US.)

They crack on the stays near the dropouts without a disc. Imagine what'd happen with one ;)

Hey kotovs,
Do you think Avid Juicy 7 caliper will fit into the disc mount on the MS2?

People have cracked them on both sides. Matt Staple's killed his on the disc-side, I'm pretty certain? Either way, that was just the first one I had to hand...

The geometry is pretty good, none of the ridiculously overdone BB rise that everything seems to have these days

That's because it was a Megamo. Best rear disc design ever.

Not that I know of. I've got Matt's frame here and the non-drive side dropout is perfect. That crack on Sam's frame is also on the drive side.

There's the tweak Sergejs talked about - should stiffen the frame up a treat, as well as strengthen that dropout area.
As for using a disc on the rear... Mine's a beast! Hoping to get a video and some pics sorted out soon.
