Hope trial or BB7?

Hello, I'm thinking of buy one of those brakes but I don't know witch one,

Avid BB7 185mm and XTR 952 lever with like nokon or XTR cable and horsing, or Hope mono trial 160 or 180mm.


Witch one? =) please till me what you think.

BB7. Much cheaper, and it works well, especially with the housing you want.

I have used them both a LOT in the last 6 months..... Gotta say I prefer the Hope Trial..... It it just plain better..... Costs a lot more though..... Worth it though

My 160 Hope Trial has just about as much locking power as my 203 avid with good pads,housing,lever, etc.. but 1000x better modulation

Either would be great.. I vote Hope if you can deal with hydros but Avids are pretty dummy proof for maint and setup.

Hope Trial. I agree with the pro's and con's stated above, but just go the distance and get the Hope.
