Found a new riding spot in town.
Also, I found myself a new way to shit because of my X-pedal and Tensile crank arm.

My chain was pretty slack, a lot slacker than usual, and when I kicked the resistance I felt was the chain taking up the slack, not engaging, if you see what I mean? So when I let go of the brake and launched, it just didn't really put much power in, so the front didn't come up at all, meaning it was just starting to fall. I've had a pretty harsh faceplant before which involved flattening my nose completely to my face incl. a compound fracture of the bridge of my nose (not to mention one side of my glasses getting embedded in my face ;)), so I was well wary of that happening again.
Anyways, that's a Zona Zip. It's like a Python that doesn't ride like shit, 'cos it's got shorter stays so it's way, way more responsive. Slightly raised BB too, so it's just a lot more fun to ride.
