I've had the kenda stick-e's before. I've used the thinner side wall version (sucks bad for trials) and the much thicker side wall'd one (I think about 1300 grams) and that was much better, but I like my michelin 24.1 2.5 tire more than the kenda. just my .02

Michleins are shitty for riding in the wet...

I ahve a kenda blue groove on my trials bike and i like it a lot. Its as grippy as a michelin but cost a lot less.

michelin tires are not good for wet conditions. maxxis are much better. however michelins are good tires for urban stuff and dry conditions.
kenda tires seem okay, but there not as high quality as mich and maxxis.

I had a nevegal 2.5
Very good tire no bounciness , no pinch , wear time is good , sticky , way cheaper.
2 ply is tough.
Single ply is crap for the rear unless you runn 35/40 psi.
Getting a 2.35 this coming season to lose some weight.

2.35, double wides dont have a breaking surface (disc only) and they're waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy to heavy.

Ive seen tony fernandez rock the living shit out of a wet rail with a kenda 2.5 on the back.
Thinking back on it though, he could probably still do the same on a michelin hot-s. That or it would implode from the weight.

I've been using my Mich 24 AT for about a year now -- and they really DO suck in the wet, but are awesome for urban... they wear a tad fast cuz the rubber is rather stick-e. I haven't had any flats so far and they're very comparable to maxxis (its really a toss up between the 2 companies). A couple riding buddies have used Tioga (which don't have too much sidewall protection), and IRC (average tire)... but it all depends what u ride mostly.
