no more xtr v-brake levers?

Can it be that all never (2006) xtr v brake levers will come with inegrated shifter with that weird new tech allowing to switch speed on your lever blade?

I definitely dont wanna buy xtr lever if it has integrated shifter :nono:

The current XTR has indeed the dual control levers.
For trials you'd want the older modell (called BL-M950).

So they actually don't make the brake lever seperate lever anymore? I assumed they still did since I've seen it on a couple of different sites on the net. If you're looking for them, by the way, I think www.speedgoat.com still has them, since I just got a pair for Christmas (from them).

sometimes you can pick up a pair of altek's dirt cheap. they used to be really expensive but them they stopped making them. i think they feel better than xtr's or avids.

yes, they still make the non integrated shift brake lever. if you would like i can take a picture of the page in the book...


(note the integrated shift/brake is called STI, just so you dont have to write big words)

Avid Ultimate lever's are not better than XTR old ones!
Avid Ultimate brake arms are the best though.

They're definately still retailing the XTR's here in the UK from chainreaction. Dunno what the situtation in the states is.
