I am selling my 2003 Monty Stock Bike. :bigthumb:
It was brand new for $1700 and I willing to let it go for $400. It has Magura Louise Front Disk and Rear HS-33's. Also, It has 6 speed SRAM shifting and the rear wheel is practically bombproof. It has a CHRIS KING HUB with an incredible build to it and has never needed truing. It was only used for like 3 months, it had cost me 400 to build it with the king. The frame, however, has a crack on the seal, but it would be a great bike for a beginner or sport rider assuming they wouldnt be doing any 10 foot drops or something. I really dont think there is a better deal. Let me know I am in Atlanta, GA
Its color is red and white.

Maybe I wasn't clear.
Yes, I do realise that there is a 25" rim. I've ridden many a monty stock before. However, I do believe you are wrong in how many years they have made the 25" wheel. As I recall, I thought they only made the 26" version for one year, as even the current monty stocks have 25" wheels.
Will you ship to Melbourne, Australia? If so, could you give me a price? Postcode is 3000.
Im interested, thanks.

Edit* would you not be able to run that with 26" wheels?

Oh, can I get a better pic of that crack!!
Where is the location of the crack?
$400 is a good price, someone could buy this bike and then buy my Monty X-hydra frame w/25" rear wheel and switch all the parts over.

for those of you wondering, it'll fit a 26" rim if you run a low profile tire...or so ive heard

How would the brakes line up with a 26" wheel ??
I have been able to angle my brakes pads to fit a 26" DX32, it just wore down the pads at an angle. I think you could do this on any wide rim. Adapters are also available to line up the brakes to a 26" wheel.

Shipping is about $70,,,the crack is in the back on the left side where the rear end of the bike is joined towards the bottom bracket

How are the parts on the bike? I haven't ridden for awhile but am not really a beginner, so I would be afraid of a crack. It could work for a bit until I get a new frame and than transfer the parts.
How bad is the crack?

would you consider parting it out and selling everything except the brakes, headset, frame and fork?
Seems like people would want to stay away from a cracked frame...
Let me know
