View Full Version : Wanted: Broken fork with disc tabs
If anybody happens to have a broken fork around with disc tabs I would gladly take it off your hands. All I really need is the left fork leg from the drop out to a couple of inches above the disc tab.

What do you want for it?
want to you give me and its yours, one question though: are you going to weld it into another fork or create your own?
please reword that, and no I am not going to weld it, I am going to use it to try and rig up a rear brake on my mod. Goint to try and use it as a replacement for the brake therapy component.

dude that sounds pretty sweet, got any pics or drawings on how you are gonna do it? o right right, what do you give me for the fork?
i don't know how i am going to do it yet, nor am I convienced that it will work anyways. Once I get it donw I can post some pics. My new echo rim should be here tommorrow, I have a disc hub on order that may arive after the first of the year, already have the avid. Is it a 51mm standard like all the new forks have or is it something different. Since I don't know if the idea will work or not I am not looking at investing alot into this portion of it, I figgured I will cover shiping plus five bucks or so. If this dosen't work out I will have one machined for me.
