Here are some pics of my bike and me on it. It rides very well. The bike sits on the rear so easy and I have gained distance on gaps! All techniques take some time to adjust to but I am not loosing any height compared to my Pitbull.

Here it is!
http://www.observedtrials.net/album/data/500/medium/bike.jpg (http://www.observedtrials.net/album/showphoto.php?photo=3841&size=big&ppuser=2924)

The stem suits it well. It is the 30 by 130 hifi stem.

New front end is a Hifi fork and BB7 brake.

http://www.observedtrials.net/album/data/500/medium/front.jpg (http://www.observedtrials.net/album/showphoto.php?photo=3845&size=big&ppuser=2924)

On that Gap to Front from the small rock in the corner, the brake didn't slip one bit. WOW! I love it. It works great in the wet and the dry.

Gap to hook. The fork is so stiff. It held up to this no problem. I don't even notice the extra weight too.

A bit slippy:ugh2:

Thanks Hugo!

I also got the Echo rim a month ago. It is strong, and it holds a grind well. Only one dent so far! It is a small one. The Tensile cranks are great too. Strong and stiff. Great for competition.

That's DECE! :greddy: Really nice looking bike you've got there.

Is it the long wb one? How does the lenght feel compared to the pitbull? About the same or longer?

jamesb

The wheelbase is 1095. My zoo was 1085. I really don't notice any difference. The adamant actually feels shorter and more flickable.

I was out today trying some taps...you might have seen Vinces new technique with his high bb bike...well, it works! I landed a few good sized taps doing that front to rear thing! It just seems natural with the high stem. I don't have it dialed but I can see the advantages it provides.

Tomorrow I'm going downtown and i'll test it on some hooks (I haven't yet). I'll let you know how it feels.

I used to have a blue BT fork...imagine how that would look.:momaru:

I love silver. I know most people are tired of it but I'm not.

jamesb

Nope. I just lean a little more to where I want to go and it works great.

A vid is in the works...2 or three weeks it will be done.

It is the 165mm I think.

I'll have a vid soon, more than 10cm of snow fell last night and it is still going. This week it will all melt though so I'll film then.

I really hate this look too but i have it on my bike. You kinda have to though unless you want your stem too high. You can cut it down but then if you ever get a new frame youll have to get a new fork. THis happened to me and i had a weld a new pice on top. But yeah....

Nice bike! What stem size/degree are you using?
And what material do you use as downtube protector?

jamesb
12-23-2005, 04:44 PM
I am using a 130mm by 30 degree Echo Hifi stem and the protector is PVC pipe I think.

fizzmahon
12-25-2005, 03:12 PM
