That is a bell

I'm more than likely going to have to change my rear brake into a V. I have an Alex rim, which is ample.
I for sure have to change a few things around ( rear cog, get rid of bashguard, 32tooth, seat problem, levers. )
But beginner bike :)

Oh man, I can see the similarity now... I dig that your bell even has an X and a skull on it. What are you doing for a seat? What is the difference, I wonder between a zebdi and an alibongo, other than the bent seattube? I see mine has an added gusset under the rear disc mount, that might be it, huh?
Cool bike!

A completely different geo is the main difference.

How about a link to the geometry specs of the different Planet X models? Anyone?
The Planet X site is famously useless.

Head angle: 73deg
Wheelbase: 1050mm
BB drop: 20mm ABOVE wheel centre
Rear stays: 390mm
Seat tube length: 254mm
Alibongo
apparently, I have a Zebdi mk6, not a zebdi mk5. Notice the bottom tube gusset.
Head angle: 74deg
Seat angle: 74deg
Top tube length:21.5in
BB height: 13in
Chainstay length:15.5in
Weight: 4.15lb
thats for the mk5.
not a whole lot of difference

Ya - still look similar, but, some things are different which do give it a different feel. So, mine is a mk6, right? Cuz the fives have a squared gusset, whilst mine is rounded.

not a whole lot of differenceIf your talking about the difference between the alibongo and the zebdi then your wrong. The only characteristic the share is theyre trial bikes. The geos are nowhere even similar. 1055wb and 20+bb is a huge difference. I own a alibongo/tibo and ridden a zebdi many times.

cp101

Eh, they're dp20s, downhill and freeride disc rims, so they're holding. And I'm gonna switch out to v-brakes when i have the cash for it, I have an alex rim on my wall, I can use that.
