I'm down for saturday. I'm really itching to go to Nashua st. park, looks real fun for all abilities. If someone could post directions when we finally figure out where we'll meet, that'd be great, thanks.

hey guys,
i just joined the site a few mins ago.
im on a photog board with firewrx and he showed me some of his shots and i must say trials looks like the cat's pajamas for real.

i live up in burlington vt now but i want to make it to this ride.
anyone got suggestions for parking? i'll just drive towards downtown/chinatown and leave the whip there. either jump on the train or walk to wherever this is going to happen.

i'll be photographing so i hope the weather is good.
could someone pm or email me with the pertinent info?
later

alright, after looking closer at a map I realized where nashua st and the gov't center are in relation to boston college.

The best place to park would be here;

http://www.google.com/maps?q=Boston+Common&near=Boston%2C+MA&btnG=Search&sll=42.366598%2C-71.060343&sspn=0.032088%2C0.055790&f=l&hl=en&cid=42358333,-71060278,13274814968414796861&li=lmd&z=3

probably gonna be a little expensive but it's your easiest/best bet, if you zoom in on the map, GC and Nashua are a few blocks away.

The injury happend last April on Marathon Monday, I was attempting to do a rather high side up. An I needed to bend back very far and when I went to jump up, I felt this pop in my back and fell over. When I got up, I felt this intense shock go through my left leg and I could hardly walk. Me being an idiot and thinking,oh this will go away like any other back injury. I kept on riding and the pain kept on getting worse and worse. To top it off, my GF at the time, thought I was joking and jumped on my back and that made it even worse. Finally in July I went to an Orthopedist and had me get an MRI and that's when I found out I had a herniated disc. Me being thick headed an all, I wasn't going to let an injury hold me back from doing my sports, it was summer time. He gave me predazone and it managed to take away the swelling in my disc, in which released the pressure off my spine. So once I felt better, I decided to go riding and ride and ride, before I knew it, Iwas hurt again. That lasted about a week and then I got hurt and now I am healing slowly. That's where the cortozone shots come into play, I am down to two more and they seem to be working.I am able to ride now, not at the level I was riding before and that is the real killer. That's why I am taking pictures of your guys, instead of riding...that is the hard part for me. Soon I'll be back out there, I know now not to rush it, this is among the worst injury that's ever happen to me..and I've been in a coma before..

Thanks Darrel for the pic..the little guy saying no no..was funny as hell..

should i bring down my video cam too?
if someone wants to shoot video i'll charge up the 2 batteries i have and bring it along. it's not great. just a canon optura 20.

thedemo, are you gonna be walking or you bringing a bike to ride from spot to spot? just wondering cause if you're walking i'll do the same, if not, i'll toss the haro into the car

I'd definitely bring a bike, the spots we go to spread out a little. Not too much, we have tiny gears. Far enough though, that you wouldn't want to hoof it.

I can't make it on Saturday as it turns out, I'm working a 24.

yea i remember you saying you had to work.
figure it'd be a good way to get my feet wet though so what the heck..it's only a 4 hour drive down and 4 back up.
i'll toss up my shots probably monday-ish.
gotta process the rail jam first

hopefully we can get together sometime down the road and share tips/advice. have fun at work bro
