It's probably OK, it's not cheap either, 150USD, so, probably will withstand some abuse.

I think kinesis makes superlight cross country forks and cyclocross stuff. Probably not for trials. The weight tells the tale.

uhh yeah... 1.66 lbs!!

get this kid's norco fork.. it'll do you well.

stay away from that kinesis.. bad things happen to them.

I always had good luck with old cro-moly take off forks from bike shops. Many shops have these laying around from when bikes used to come without suspension and people would swap them for a suspension fork. If you can find a old GT dealer they had the best forks. I always picked a fork up for under $40. If I remember correctly the forks that say spinner on the dropouts are the best.
