If your cranks are still on you'll have to remove the cranks before you can access the BB. For that you'll need a crank puller - different models for ISIS and square taper. After you have the cranks off, you'll need the tool that fits the bottom bracket (almost like a reverse socket). It'll look like this: http://www.webcyclery.com/product.php?productid=16407&cat=0&page=1

You could pay your LBS to do it for you, but IMO its always better to just buy the tools so you can do it whenever you want. Just run down to your bike shop and pick them up... no sense in ordering such small things online.

remove the non-drive cup first, it's a standard thread so anti-clockwise will remove it. The driveside or fixed cup (on most BBs) is a reverse thread so turning it clockwise will loosen it. For both cups, the tool rotates in the same direction as the wheel for BB removal (as a spatial mnemonic).

obviously, the tool rotates in the opposite direction to reinstall.

most likely - unless you have self extracting crank bolts, which is doubtful. Basically remove the crank bolt and see if it pulls the arm off. If not, you need a crank puller.
