Hey

I have been really focusing on my ups lately, and what really seems to be limiting me is how far I can suck the bike up. Whenever I miss an up, my friend says my hip is still a good foot or so away from the rear wheel- then watching videos of the top riders, you can see they get the rear wheel right up there, sometimes even higher than their hips. I've started to work on just consciously throwing up more and working on my flexibility there, but I wondered if there were any secrets or things I was obviously missing that might help.

Thanks in advance

Thanks in advancei think the amount you can tuck is usually consistent, but the biggest factor is hopping the bike as high as possible before the tuck. I think sometimes you get sort of a "pop" when you are upping - that's usually when the timing is perfect, everything goes right and you make the big up. I can't hop my bike very high but I always tuck very tight, which helps.

yeah it's called a search, not just here but on the whole internet-like through google or something, there are how-to's everywhere.

get your arms straight, your head down between your arms, and land with your weight further back so you should have to take a faster runup to stay at the top.

i don't really know what you're not doing right with no vids or pics but i think my advice should be pretty handy.
