i am jealous of your running water. really cool spot, i see lots to work with there that should keep a rider busy for a long time! good stuff.
Thats awesome :eek3:
There is nothing better than riding with/in running water. That first move is pretty big too, props!

Sweet spot you've got there Rollin, reminds me of a spot I have near by.
Also, what rear disc are you running? Looks nice.

In the Adirondacks if you want to find rocks in those kinds of numbers you either have to hike up a mountain or find water. It is really fun except for the fact that the rocks get scary slippery scary fast and I dare you to try and leave with dry shoes. The only problem is the forest is very dense and there isn't anywhere to practice tap/hooks or anything that requires a run-up. There is a lot to work with but a lot of it is damn scary and most of harder moves I had a spotter. As for the iced tea water, the rocks are filled with pyrite which gives the water the orange color. Not surprisingly it's name is goldmine stream. The mosquitos really aren't bad and depending on the season you have to watch out for black flies. What we saw I think were stable flies but there weren't too many and they are slower and easy to kill. The discs are hope minis which work well enough 90% of the time (when you are on the edge of making something they do tend to slip backwards). I run them because I picked up the set for a grand total of $100.

awesome spot. Have to do any hiking to get to it?
I have a stream somewhat similar to that behind my house. Never ridden in it though, its not very close/accessible.
nice pics.

It was more hiking then I expected but nothing outrageous, a bit over a mile. The worst part was finding it, the trail wasn't marked at all. I drove by it twice cause it was just on a dirt road with just a slight gap in the woods which was the trail. The things I do for new riding spots......:hsugh:
