the german coach Martin in Croatia had a stock bike with the same thing, also from hoffman. seemed to work pretty well but wouldnt that weaken the frame a little maybe?
Didnt monty used to do that with th eir stock bikes? BenR has one like that i think maybe..

i thought of that idea a while ago, but it would seem that area of the frame would maybe be weak
but im not willing to spend $ on a custom frame to test it out
like you guys said, stick with the vee's, or maggies

yep, i'd agree, stick with the Vees
But from curiosity...how'd you be able to adjust the Hs33? looks like the clamp thing is modded too so you can only slide it out, upwards

the same way it went in?
with the pads out, you should be able to just get the cylinder out whilst turning it
adjusting would be possible
i would think that the mounts stay small, but the frame wouldnt have a round hole for just the bolts
but have longer holes to allow for adjustment since there a lot of room in between
