nifty pics. Looks like an excellent place to ride. How far from Colorado Springs is it?
Can't see the second one though.

its about a 45-50 min drive from colorado springs, but it costs 10 bucks a person to go up the road, so it wont be a frequent spot...its got some really scary stuff that i didnt get a picture of

not too bad a drive, sucks about paying though.
What's the elevation there?

at that boulder field we guessed about 11,500 feet.
the ten bucks thing, it's not bad. it was worth the trip. maybe only do it once or twice a year tops. i think mt evans/echo lake has riding at about that elevation for free.

I would get H.A.P.E. and die
I was at molas pass (10,880) two winters ago and decided to do a little back country snowboarding...I got about 100 yards in waist deep snow and I thought my lung's and head were gonna explode ...I hiked the same spot 100 time's when I lived in Durango... elevation at my house now 15 feet above sea level

hahaah, fifteen feet.
11,500, that's perty high, reckon. I've never actually been high enough to get shortness of breath or shiz like that. Wish I could:wtc:
Maybe I'll just go to Mt. Everest and get H.A.C.E. :sigh:
