For those of you with tensiles, how often do you take a good nick out of your ankles with them? The edges of the crank are pretty rectangular and sharp looking. Just wondering how bad it is. If you have hi-tops like tryalls do you not notice it?
thanks.

I just got mine recently and have only hit it hard enough to take a good chunk out once, but I brush them and tap them enough that I keep opening the cut back up. As I have had more time on them though I am hitting them less and less.

I ride in Adidas Sambas

I have never hit my ankle with my crank arm, I have found I hit my leg on the magura cylinder though.

My ankles brush my cranks only when I sidehop. Otherwise my ankle only hits my magura line and my mini seat (yes i still use one).

Can't say I ever hit mine... I've tried since I started riding to make sure my feet are always square on the pedals.

yeah, ive found that in a similar fashion it is easiest to not get hit by oncoming traffic by not walking into it.

the those ribo shoes the couses developed have a little ankle gaurd on them. i know some other companies make them for other shoes like 661 and such. i used to ride with them for dh and by the end of a season they have huge cuts and scratches in the plastic gaurd. i figure better in the gaurd than my damn ankle.
