Nobody's been ridin' Crescents longer than Martin. I noticed he uses this cool looking chain tensioner. I bet it's homeade. Find his website, his game is tight!

the cranks are very nice - my LBS bought out the entire stock of roox parts from the distributor when he closed down - has a heap of those cranks with compact spiders for cheap if anyone wants them.

Martin doesn´t even ride that frame anymore, now he rides a coust and i just love that comment he made when he first tried it: OMG frames has changed the last 8 years!!!

Meaning he rode the same type of crescent frame for 8 years... and now he ride with other crans aswell, and that chain tennsioner he makes himself.

he rides a coust now? Please dont tell me he managed to get that at 18 pounds too.

I remember picking up one of his older bikes once(new style crescent) and being shocked that it was slightly heavier than a road bike.

also, here is the us distrutor for roox

roox makes some really nice, light stuff. Fairly strong too but not bombproof, their freeride stem is pretty cool but too short for me.

tensioner is just a piece of carbon. the flex (you can see its slightly bent) keeps the chain tight.

Oh, thank goodness they have monkey-butt! I thought I was going to hemorage,...

I suppose that IF the cranks have the same XTR interface as Bonz do, you could just order up some Bonz bash 58mm spiders and lock-em on. Looks like Martin has a home made one attached.

At first glance I thought he had used a fender/rack stay for a tensioner.
