Hi!
I'm going to switch to 26" bike from my 20" Levelboss and and can't decide on the XTP long or the Belaey bike. I'm 181cm, about 5.11, 6 feet (i think) and ride mostly natural. If anyone has tried both bikes i would appreciate some comments, both good and bad. Thanks.

I'm gonna have to say go with the Beleay. And it's a little cheaper but not that it matters.

ill just say that at 5'11, my xtp fits me perfectly. i havent spent any time on a bealey but thats what i was going to get ntil i got a really good deal on the xtp. id say if you arent an elite level rider, go withe the bealey, its cheaper, and probably a whole lot stronger. the XTP really isnt made to be ridden everyday by riders who beat stuff up.

i am 177cm and ride a Belaey.. I ride in elite (but that doesn't necessarily make me elite) and I do ride a fair bit, and I didn't see the XTP as an everyday riding type of bike either. I got a good price on the KB and I could have got an xtp.. but I didn't.

the only reason i ahve an xtp is because i got it for as less than a LB costs. otherwise i was ready to order a Belalay

belaey has a lower bb, making the bike a bit more stable for both wheel balance lines
i've ridden both, and the xtp feels a bit bigger

So if i'm not a pro, still practising new moves like tapping, gapping to frontwheel, you don't recommend the XTP? Is the Belaey stronger, anybody knows for sure? From what I read in different threads around the forum the XTP seems to have a pretty thin downtube, very easy to dent, right? Would some kind of protection on the downtube help, or would it dent just the same? I'm still not a pro bur not a beginner, somewhere in the middle. Is the Belaey to recomend over a levelboss?

Also, just discovered that they don't have the Kenny Belaey bike on www.koxx.fr (http://www.koxx.fr) any more. Have they stopped selling it?

The choice was pretty easy for me. I'd really like the xtp, but I dont think it'd last me too long. Vinco was too long, caisso too short, already had a levelboss before, and wasnt sure about going custom. The only thing a KB doesnt have that i'd really want are horizontal dropouts.

I think if you even have to ask the question, you probably shouldnt get the xtp. Its a comp frame, meaning light, rides great, but probably wont last you too long. For everyday riding where theres a good chance your down tube will meet a rock, a rail, ledge or log, the KB or a levelboss is a better choice.

If you ride a lot of comps, and your good enough that the weight gives you a significant advantage, and your fine with the fact that its not gonna last you 3 years, then go for it.

I just noticed the KB is no longer offered on koxx's site. I have one coming in maybe a week or so, I'm gonna be super pissed if next week koxx goes, hey we've got a new KB frame coming out, its got horizontal dropouts and a raised BB!

What is saying that the KB bike is stronger, they both weigh 1800 grams?

Tried Beleay and Xtp, compared to Vinco, Xtp's real shet and beleay is really a great bike, kind of levelboss upgraded, truly amazing. The xtp is just a good bike, Hermance riding on .. but beleay riding his bike. BELEAY !

is the headangle the same on both? looks different on the pictures but it's probably the angle the photo has been taken at.

to the topic starter: have you considered anything else apart from koxx? coustellier, echo, zoo etc?
