monty x lite bars and stems.pleas help me out

hello trials dudes........right .are the x lite bars and stems made of aluminum?
i have changed the look of my koxx xtp e.g i have punched big square holes in my rims shuved some red koxx stickers
on ..... ......... and now i want to strip the paint of the bars and stem .so if they are made of aluminum i wont need to use laquer due to aluminum not rusting so do i just polish them up .....i really need help on this because i dont want to mess it all up

Your bar must be different from mine, because this one says right on it "7075 butted aluminum". It's the flat bar, but the riser for 220's, 221's, 231's are alu. The 220 is 6061, the others 7075. The stem should be 6061 as well. As long as the parts are from an xlite as you say, and not a 219, they should be aluminum.

However, I don't understand "strip the paint", because my Monty parts are all anodized, so again I'm not sure what you really have there. :?
