monty 219 alp bash gaurd

if anyone has had a monty 219 then they know that the bash gaurd doesnt even cover the chain and ring. my question is that does anyone know of another bash i could buy or a way to cover the ring. any suggestions would be great

new cranks because the front ring has like 24 teeth and is gayyy.

i dont think another bashguard would fit still and i also have no idea, hope this helps.

go to a front freewheel, white industries eno 18 tooth 72 point engagement. and then like a 16 or 14 thread on rear sprocket.

ok thanks, i think ill just wait to get another bike because i want a stock by the end of the summer. theres no use in putting alot of money into this POS

I had the same problem. I didn't know or didn't want to change the bash guard, so i made a change. I bought longer screws with the same thread and some washers. Then i put (in each screw) 3 washers between the frame and the bash guard and a rubber washer and the bash guard now covers better the chain.

you could put spacers on under it, which might be a pain...
