Designs stolen form toxsin!!

I really feel I must post about the misfortune that we at toxsin recently experienced. It started off a few months ago when top designer 'Mast' (as I like to call him) fisted the factory with his new design. After leaving it on the table in the office, Mast returned to find that his plans where not there. After talking with the guys who work in the factory and with his friend who runs it, Mast is sure who took the design.:o

Yesterday I received an update on the situation. Apparently another factory has started to produce a copy of the frame. So I really have to get the point across that toxsin are the designers of any pirate copies of this frame. I've posted some links below so you can keep an eye out for any imitations.

How the *uck do you know what the geo of the frame is from a picture??? Get your facts right about the frame before you say its a low bb. The bb is plus 30mm with toxsin forks!!

I guess that frame is alright. If you paid attention to detail and were a rider you would realize that those dropouts may be cheap and look great but they suck balls. Get a dropout that uses a hanger design that resists snapping, there are tons out there. Then stop giving your business to some gaybo manufacturer.

Seeing as I've passed my structural steel cert in all positions as well as pipe and pressure welding with TIG...yeah, I have welded. Oh, I'm only 16.

No, we havent. There are too many variables in a tig weld that could contribute to a failiure. A neat weld can have so many errors in it. Undercut, porosity, uncomplete penetration and slag inclusions are all things that could happen in ANY weld, nice looking or not. Cleanliness of the metal to be welded has a HUGE play in tig welds. Are your manufacturers wiping down the aluminum/filler rod with acetone prior to welding? Are their consumables clean? (tungsten/cups) Is the gas filtered and pure? Most importantly, are the machine settings correct? Hey, you can make one hell of a pretty weld on 1/2" aluminum plate at 80 amps, but don't expect it to hold up worth shit. A pretty weld DOES NOT mean it's a strong weld.

My PX had neat welds and I broke one every 6 months or so on the weld.

If a weld is in a spot where it shouldn't be in, or you have a fucking gorgeous perfect weld, greatest in the world weld, holding two pieces of metal that are too thin for what you are using it for, that weld is going fucking down.

I don't give a fuck how pretty those welds are. Gimme 6 or so months and I'd be willing to bet this thread will be full of I told you so's from people you have pissed off. A pretty weld with a gorgeous crack through it to match. Its never happened before..............

I have rode and owned many frames and I put my money on my no.1 toxsin being the strongest of the lot. Apart form a ti frame I had, its the stiffest frame that I have owned too.

However it broke on a very beautiful weld because of a flaw in materials. You say your frame has beautiful welds? So what? We will all see just how tough it is in a little bit. I never said it did. I am saying that I don't know if it does or not and it is my proof that unlike what you said above you can't judge a frames strength by its good looking welds. My frame had great welds, but was flawed. All I was doing this whole time was proving you wrong?

To me trial riding is all about creating a natural high. Its for fun and self actualization. But it seems when money and egos get involved all the true assets of the sport get thrown out the window. Ok, so he is just some kid in the UK who thinks he is part of the company when he just has a web site and imports a few frames into the UK...something anybody can do...then he should stop saying "we" when referring to Toxsin

He is giving Toxsin a bad name with his unprofessional comments.

I just bought a Toxsin directly from the manufacturer and I can honestly say that I received the best customer service that I could hope for. A great price, immediate shipping, they sent it via a secure and traceable shipping company, they e-mailed me pics of the shipping receipt and of the bike prior to packing the box, they sent pics of all other included items, and of the outside of the packed box. They respond to e-mails right away and the product is very good, I'm completely happy with my Toxsin (Ok, I've only had one ride...) and I plan to order more from this company, namely the bars because they are sweet...


So I'd suggest that people don't listen to this guy from the UK and that they don't base their judgments on Toxsin from his comments...he is not a representative of the company! I'd hate to see a new trials company offering a good product for a good price with excellent service damaged as a result of misconceptions generated by inappropriate comments left by one person...
