View Full Version : Question for you guys with big feet
For those of you who wear big shoes (14+ US or 48+UK): what do you wear for shoes? I will probably need new shoes soon, and was just wondering what other shoe companies make big shoes that work well for trials. thanks.

I wear whatever i can find that will fit my feet. I usually wear a 14 or 15 EEEE with my foot squashed sideways and my toes curled up. Right now some ASICS technical crosstrainers in 14 that almost fit. Shoes suck, I'm thinking about making myself a custom trials shoe, one with grooves on the bottom that fit onto my pedals and keep my foot in the same place without being clipped in.

You can find Vans old school low tops in 14 if you google "vans mens 14" alot of times there's great deals on 13 and over......I'm lucky 2 live by an outlet store...I've also bought new Vans 13's on Ebay for $15-25...they might have 14's.
What pedals do you use?
My feet are size 13 or something and I wear elf shoes.

I have size 15 feet but I use 14 for riding. Vans and DC mostly because of the nice flat soles. It's always nicer to have a slightly tighter shoe for riding...they will stretch out while riding and by the time I get home, they are off!

the shoes i have now have a pedal inprint and a larege grove in them from my pedal. tehres a distinct outline of the pedal on teh shoe and i ahve to get it right on the pedal to have it work right.

yah, kinda like that, except by the time your shoes wear in enough to conform to the pedal they're usually dead.

Afrobot,
I was at this festival that was 10 days long with like 1,000,000 people strolling the streets and wittness this dude sell 600 pair of Crocs in the first 9 days at 30.00 a pair, And that is the truth, some serious cash!
Carnival man Sam.
get a cheap pair of shoes and dremel the shit out of the rubber... then take the metal insole of a workboot, and shove that in shoe, under the insole... and BAM! you have a kick-ass riding shoe.
