finally my new Toxsin arrived.
custom car metallic paintjob, abit similar to the gray metallic onza paint i think. I took the raw brushed frame, cleaned it...and 5 cans of base coat, paint and clear coat later it came out perfect like this.

that looks great - the paint job came out beautifully ! How many days to paint? Expensive paint?

i was waiting for that frame 2 months... so i rushed it, but even so i turned out great.
i did the layers in 40min intervals (where normally you should wait till they are totally dry) and used a hairdryer to speed it up.

paint was normal bulind center/mall spraypaint for cars. 450ml or 400m (so the bigger ones) i think.
paint can was like 7€
base coat 4$

alot of areas are rash, but i think that just happens when you do it spraypaint style. i might have to polish it abit so that the ruff rash areas become smooth. They look totally smooth and shine like hell but when you touch it the paint is ruff...

well I hope it doesn't scratch off too easily, I haven't been impressed by a bike paint job in a long time until seeing that.

that paint job looks really good, it makes the bike look so much better

I just got my raw brushed finish Toxsin 3 days ago but I haven't built it up yet...I'm waiting on the headset...

I'm gonna have to throw on some evo adaptors until Tuesday, are they working OK for you?

they worked quite shitttttty, getting the pads to align right was a pain in the ass.
Switched to vbrake adapters to run vees after a couple of hours, they are working so good that im actually considering to keep the Vees and not put the hs33 back on when i get the magura clamps.

which V brake adapters are you using?

monty ones which are the exact same AgrAde had custom made for his frame.
I had them on for one day and they work perfekt, although i heard from people that it stresses the mag mounts alot.
Dont know... should be allright with a toight booster

With those adaptos, did you have enough clearance for your rim?(What rim are you using?) Where did you get them also?

it works on a DX32 (which is 39mm wide) without removing a pad washer, 42mm would work probably too. Everything over 42mm would :weak: :ugh:

booster otherwise snap. maybe, mine were shit metal. and one is still going strong even now.

they're a lot stiffer than having a seperate post screwed in to a chunk of metal that's mounted, give more power too. i rekon a 4 bolt booster below and a v-brake booster on top would be nice, it'd spread some of the force to the top bolt.
