Hey there,

just from curiosity, has anyone used these hubs yet? i'd like to know how well they perform. Especially for the 108 engagement point system with a 3 offset pawl system

here's a picture

if it has an unconditional warranty of 2 or more years, go for it. They're not cheap in aus though - $700 + through dirt jerks?

na, they're 'bit' cheaper than King :hs: ....i can pick one up for $450(brand new) from Local bike shop, and come with 3 year warranty

But yeah, i'm quite sick of my crappy Onza (18engagement point hub) and may wanna have a go, if it's all good, i'll let you know :wiggle:

its way better than an onza, but its still not a king.

do what yo uwant, but if you can afford it, get a king, they are much much better. just do a search for hadley hub on this website, you will see.

Wow, thanks soo much for the help there Elan, didn't realise there were soo many topics about the Hadley hub, definetly gonna ditch it now, and probably go FrontFreewheel (as I need new Cranks asap)

I have the Hadley 108pt, it's very nice. There are a lot of nice standard features such as funbolts and a Ti freehub body so you don't notch it up very easily. It's kind of hard to justify getting a king instead. They are nearly silent as well. However, under prolonged trials use, a King might be a better choice since the engagement is more solid.

Thanks for the help there ACR, i'll probably be looking for a Front Freewheel setup as it'll be a more solid setup, here's how i'll set it up (tell me if it's gay)
and i'll be spending $$$heaps so i won't have anymore drivetrain problems

-Koxx Try All FFW Cranks (cause my current cranks are going bad)
-Try All Bash ring to suit with the crank
-White Industries, 72EP one
-as for the rear hub...i'll probably use my current Onza and zip tie it up and see how that'll go, if it dies, i could always buy a fixed hub (they don't cost much)

and for Will, yeah...i would go buy Harley's gear, but i want to have new set of cranks instead of one (cause my left one is pretty screwed), and if i bought his, i'd need to buy a bashring and Freewheel too...Soo....i'm just gonna go and buy the lot at www.ribbed.com.au (http://www.ribbed.com.au) :greddy:

new oztrials fixed rear hubs are just a bit over 250g I think - and $175 - worth looking at. Word on the street is that Harley's cranks shit all over the try-alls.
