dear interweb access0rz,
i have some echo square taper ffw cranks that i found inside a meteor that crashed into my grandma. luckily i was wearing her dentures at the time. well, seeing as how they are from outerspace, the threading for the drive side is a much smaller diameter than a standard freewheel or track cog. the thread pitch is also much more coarse. meantodd at webcyclery said there is a carrier/adapter thingy i need to be able to use these dumb things, but he doesn't have one. does anyone know where i might find one of these? (i've already looked up my butt and around the corner... so the fudge factory is OUT!)

Are you talking about that brass ring that goes onto the cranks? In any case I got some of those same cranks for my mod and my freewheel wouldn't thread onto the cranks the first time around, I had to send them back to the webcyclery guys. Good luck with yours, Todd was good about replacing mine.
