I have an earlier echo frame (ES-2 I think). I purchased the frame in late '02 if that helps. I am wondering if anyone has had any trouble using a DX-32 rim with a 2.3 tire in this frame. I am considering re-lacing my wheel with a new rim, and I am wondering if anyone has had any problems with this combination

Any info would be appreciated.

the rim will fit, but setting up v-brakes on it will be a fuck. and when they are finally set up. the ywills tick out and try to bite you

is that a mini baja in ur avatar?

I had a dx32 on my echo es1 and setting up v's was annoying. If u get thin pads, u can make it work, but u may nick your heels on the brake from time to time. Unless you really need the width, i'd recommend going w/ something slightly narrower to save urself the trouble. If u decide to go w/ the dx32, get spanish fly pads. The CRV's won't fit.

Yes it is a mini-baja, the car in my avitar was my senior project for school.
