Is it worth specifically training flexibility for trials? I was thinking of hamstring flexibility in particular- in relation to pulling the front up. Any thoughts?
Do 2 weeks of yoga and you'll notice a huge difference.

yes. to reduce injury, to ride better, and to impress chicks in bed.
Yes...it's essential in trials. Or you'll end up with fucked up back like me.

i started stretching regularly about a year ago. Mostly my lower back and arms, I noticed a difference almost immediately. I hardly ever get cramps anymore which is good

Yoga classes are awesome, usually all or mostly-female and if you're particularly inflexible, they'll help you out.

sounds pretty correct because yoga is all about relaxing slow movements where as trials is a fast explosive type of movement. Having said that yoga would give you the flexability to be able to use the explosive moves more effectivley
Yoga builds strength as well as flexibilty.

Yoga does help for trials. Exclusively training with yoga does not. You want to also train explosively. Yoga and plyometrics in the form of technical ruinning/parkour/step training are a good combo. Train for explosivity but use yoga to increase your range.
I think the site is called hightechyoga.com they have some sets of asanas as well as descriptions of them.
