Haha. Here I was thinking I finally had a long bike now that I have a 1065 mm wheelbase. Apparently not.
I really like the looks of these bikes tho. Probably my favourites out there. I think its mostly because they paint them and charge a reasonable price.

nice Roman,
Anyone want a nice slightly used Black 5.0?? ;)
hEy buddy, you should get a few built up pics as well, to show the geometry a little better, you know, BB height and stuff like that.

I think only Felix has a built up bike. Hopefully he can indulge us with a nice photo.

definately looks hot, good to see some proper dropouts, glad they kept those good gussets, sweet yoke.
...but why the horribly gay stickers!?
I think they should offer at least one other color, but I suppose other frames dont either.

No way, They keep getting better in my opinion. Those are sweet. I'm going to hoard them all and build a teepee.

lol at cnc tags. Looks awesome. This may become my favourite frame in terms of looks (the last one was a pearl blue zebdi). I really like the colour blue.

Roman, I'm serious buddy. I'm all about a blue short one, the 1065 W/ maggie mounts too OK? I might have to do something about running a super short fork to offset that skyscraper bb height, but I'll work it out. By the way, that blue is awesome man, I'm psyched on it!! Blue fork to huh??Nice

Sorry for all of the stupid questions buddy, but where did they put the extra 20mm of headtube length? Is it up top to make up for the bb height? I'm just trying to figure out what my new set-up is going to have to be. I want a 760 bar too

you want to run a short fork to offset the bb height? :nuts:yep, I know it's not the trendy setup right now, but I'm very comfortable with my current 5.0 bb height, I'm just short and looking to take some size off of my wheelbase.

have you tried a shorter stem?
i know its not the same as shorter wb but it may do the job...
the 04 echo control comes in 1065 and bb+ 22 i think
bwagner

yep, I've tried the shorter stem route. I'm currently running a Monty "Urban"stem, it has a huge 30 degree rise, and is a 110 length, but it feels much shorter due to the crazy rise. I've tried a million and a half stems, and this one feels the best for me. I just have a super hard time trying to bunnyhop the bike. I know bunnyhopping isn't really trials riding, but I just want something I can bunnyhop too. Yeah, the Echo is a nice bike, but I'm partial to the BT stuff, Roman is too nice a guy to not support, besides, he's taken good care of me in the past and definitely deserves the business.
hello?

all the new bikes have 375mm cs. waht does everyone else thikn aobut this...too short or just right?? i have a bt 5.0 and i want to try an xtp with 380cs causei think it might be just perfect. what does longer and shorter stays do anyway other than making it easier ot hop on the rear wheel?

if you could ever tell the difference of 5mm between 380 and 375 while riding you would probably win some Lifetime Television award for msot sensitive male.
when is ninja frame (360chain stays) coming out??
I really like the looks of this new R6.0 but i think its nothing spectacular. and 2.0kg is a weight of a tank!
the blue metallic color is cool!
And what I heard of ninja frame - it sounds like something really new and inventive

380mm stays will mean it'll be ever so slightly harder to get onto the backwheel over 375's, which are super easy. More importantly, 380mm stays will give you more power in the bike. Better for natural etc. It's hard to explain, but the shorter the chainstays are, the less power you have. Gapping for example, 375's may take a while to get used to, as it'll feel really flicky, and it'll feel like you're going super steep.
However, whatever length you get, I'm sure you'll get used to it:drool: .
Didn't explain that very well eh?

The Ninja photos should be avaiable in two weeks time or so I was told.
1065 is so tempting to invest...not to mention the color is awesome!
