Where did you get the tensiles? How much are they? Cool looking bike.

Iam currently using 18-16, but i wouldn't mine doing 18-15 since i have 175mm cranks now...

The stem is 110mm

I bought the Tensile uci cranks from www.hbtrials.com (http://www.hbtrials.com), Hugo answered all my questions fast and gave awesome service... hbtrials is the only place that is carrying tensiles in america. The ones i got were like $213 us including shipping i think?

thanks for the comments :D

Very nice, I just bought the EXACT same cranks from Hugo at Hbtrials.com. The cranks come to about $199 USD before shipping. I am also using 18-16 (track cog + king) with the 175mm cranks and love them. I havent gotten a good chance to ride natural with them, but I think I am going to like the extra torque I can get with the 175mm cranks.

i am never going back to 170, i love the extra 175 length... awesome on natural, everything seems easier to do for me now... iam 6'3" so they are definetly better for me, 170 seemed cramped in a way...

Thats cool, how is that rear tire?

RyanMcVicker

the tryall was good while it lasted... I had a maxxis minion dhr 2.5 ST before... The tryall is a little less bouncy then the maxxis, i think the maxxis was too bouncy. I got the tryall back in december and it's about time to get a new tire again... I think my next tire is going to be a michelin comp24.1 either a 2.2 or 2.5... i want somthing that will last longer

To all those people thinking about the Michelin DH Comp 24.1, you should know that Michelin has just changed their model line and now calls this tire the DH 24 A/T. It still comes in 2.2 and 2.5 but it got a bit heavier because it can be used with a tube or tubeless.

Also, they don't appear to be making the Hot S anymore.

Told you those Tensiles would sex you up. I'm digging the 175mm crank groove too, now. Looks pretty fly altogether though :)

RyanMcVicker

the avid is very good, best ive used so far. It is definetly powerfull enough with the 185mm rotor i have, almost too powerfull! Don't know what model, its just an avid mountain bike disc brake ball bearing...
