normal spokes are much cheaper. Plus, if you want light, just go DT revolution/competition. Titanium is not stronger. Normal spokes are the jizz/shizz.

What the crap are you talking about? Do you want to roll or cut threads into your existing spokes? If so, I hope you have a Phil Wood or Hozan tool and the lengths you need are at least 12mm shorter than what you have AND you don't already have butted spokes.
Stay away from Ti spokes. If you want to save weight, get some Wheelsmith XL15 spokes. Per 32 count they're only 3 grams heavier than those crap Ti spokes and they'll build a better wheel (in skilled hands)

I had a wheel for my road bike built up with ti spokes once and it was waaaay to flexy. On hard sprints the rim would rub the brakes. I would say they are not worth any small weight savings you might get.

Titanium spokes are high maintenance.
Snap one from a fall or a high drop, and if you don't install another immediately, you are replacing 3....
Have had trouble on both the front and rear wheels....
you ride a trials bike, why the fuck would you waste money on Ti spokes?

I've had Ti on non disc front for a year.No issues. Ti on my non drive rear for 2 months, no problem. I only ride them because they are gold, I'm a douche and get them cheap. They are DT and work great. 14/17 rev's are more noodley than ti ,twist a ton while building ,and build a very unstable wheel.
WHEELSMITH SPOKES ARE SHIT!!!!
To answer your question.... buy some new spooks!

ti spokes are not worth it... for the amount of money you'd better get some sapim cx-ray spokes. They're super light and strong, but also pretty expensive. If you have the extra money - get some. A friend has them on both wheels, and they're way stiffer than any other spokes out there.

all i have heard about titanium spokes is bad news really, they are supposed to flex really. really bad, and they are supposed to be a real pain to build wheels with due to the amount of flex and twist gained whilst tensioning, although i have never built a wheel using them..........
i may find it different.............
but for the amount of weight saved i wold rather buy some stainless double butted dt comp

The spokes came in the the rear of my 221Ti and i put a disk hub in the rear so i just kept them and built the wheel up usin them for now they seem to be fine! but i think ill build my spare wheel out of standard spokes as every one seems to have nothing but bad comments about Ti spokes.

My XC set (built with revelution 15/17g 3x 32 on Mavic X717 ceramics) is flexy, in good and bad ways. They are supple which smooths out things, but they do not carve the turns with confidence. I would never want to run these again for trials wheels. Once upon a time I built up a RhinoLiteXL with these same spokes and,. well,.. it was weird. They felt bouncy and returned energy, but the lateral flex was disconcerting. I noticed this same thing waiting for the bus with the XC bike tonight, side hoping up to a curb, it was like side hoping onto a rope in comparison to my current trials setup (DT champions 15g 3x 32)
I don't even want to know what Ti is like.
