Hope XC vs Hope DH

I was wondering about the how fast the engagements of Hope XC is compared Hope DH. Is it the same or what?

If you are, Hope XC's have 21 engagement points, Bulbs/Big 'Un's have 36.
There is a new Hope trials hub coming out in the relitively distant future which will have ~46.

the new hub would never feature 46 engagement points, it features 48 engagement points this being due to there being 4 pawls, 46 is not divisible by 4 pawls, wheras 48 is!

the ratchet is 24 tooth with 2 offset pawls plus two other pawls creating 48 tooth pick-up


it is far from production at this date,

i know this as i test this hub for hope it is to be called the pro 2, it has been in testing for about a year

To answer the original question, the hope bulbs and big uns do have more engagements but they also blow up a lot faster for trials and you not living in the UK means you'll have to wait longer than a few days for hope to fix or replace it.
