hey,im gettin a bt raven 5 soon and i need help.my old frame has a 68x118 bottom bracket in now and im using it with echo isis cranks with a bashguard and screw on chainring.will i have any problems changing this over or will i need a longer bottom bracket.
any advice would be great.
I've tried 118mm but was about 3mm short. I'd go with 128mm minimum to be on the safe side.

I am pretty sure you would need a longer BB axle.On my bt 5.0 with middleburns (22teeth chainring),118mm was way to short.128mm works fine, and i'm pretty sure you would need that to,although I don't excactly know how the echo cranks are compared to middleburn, and it may be that you can get away with a shorter BB.

I managed to fit bonz cranks and a 20t ring on a 68X118 bottom bracket but its very very close.

I use a 68 * 118 BB with a driveside 2.5mm spacer - I have middleburns with a 20t ring.
