sorry about the caps lock thing lol but anyways what does everyone else have im lookin to spend around 900-1000 if possible should i buy a complet bike or should i build it part by part??

Ross W.

ah. That's better. Buying a complete bike would most likely be less expensive and more likely to fit your budget. Building a custom bike with all the parts you want is definitely preferable, but will be more expensive. For your price range I would recommend buying a complete bike, and then upgrading some of the parts. Also, are you talkin about stock or mod?

I would go the complete bike route. It's cheaper. I'm guessing you don't know much about bikes yet, so having one put together for you helps. Also, you don't really know what type of riding you wanna do yet, so you can't really get parts specifically tailored for your style...

right now i have a Tank (no comments please i know its a peicer) so im learning all the techniques before summer starts then im going to get a better one thats not going to fall apart on me oh yeah i ride a stock bike ive seen companies like zoo and koxx. any one recomend these?

Ross W.

I've got a Zoo! Pitbull, which I like. But the frame is $550, they don't sell complete bikes. This would make it hard to get the rest of the parts for under a thousand. Koxx is even more expensive. Very Nice, but expensive. If you want to buy just a frame, I think Echo bounces are $400 or somewhere thereabouts, correct me if I'm wrong. But that's about as cheap as it gets for a stock frame, maybe some Planet X for a little less, unless you go used.

Would there be any chance on Tim knocking the price down since those are '04s?

Ross W.

At least French is useful in trials(if you visit France or perhaps Canada that is). I am forced to learn Spanish, the the language of Puerto Ricans.

hello?
03-22-2005, 09:16 PM
i chose to learn spanish cause i had no idea what i was doing in french. now i dont know what im doing in spanish. i had 28% then about 3 days later i had 58% then the next day i got 70% and its all from copying the preson beside me. i actually got better marks then they did on the assignments and i copied them on it.

haha. That's great! I took tres years of Espanol and my grade was worse every year. If I had a choice I would have taken something cool like Italian, but my frickin school doesn't offer anything else. Fuck.

back to the topic at hand, Tim at Triasin.com is a super nice guy, and works with people most of the time, just don't expect too much of a discount for it being the 2004 model. The price for his completes is already a good deal, and all of the components are really good stuff.

If I were to get another, nicer mod I would get that one personally. But then again I haven't been around the sport long enough to know all the specifics.

I guess I've been learning at a normal rate. I never have anybody to ride with but I ride just about everyday for around an hour. You just have to start with the basics and work your way up. I remember how stoked I was when I first could hop up steps one at a time.
