yes
edit- i use this on my ss mtb, works fine, just make sure the chain tension is good otherwise it will slip more easily, you could try sticking bigger cogs a spacer or two around the actual cog to prevent it from slipping, but otherwise its ace
cool. well i have a king kog on the back and a track cog on front, so they will bite better than cassette cogs. thanks.

Elan,
You can also get a nice cheap BMX cassette sprocket for the rear. They come ready for the 1/2 X 1/8 chain. It only makes a little bit of difference, but it does quiet it down a bit. I have a bunch of them in various sizes if you can't find them. I'm running one on my street/dirtjumper right now, and will have one on my stock bike as soon as I pick it up from the shop where I'm storing it. Oh, and the bike looks nice with the gold shit, enjoy it
i just ordered one of those shadow conspiracy interlock chains. the one with all halflinks. hopefully it works out.
every bike ive ever had i have had to stretch the chain so i could get a decent tension on it. hopefully the interlock solves that problem

I have the interloc on my bike right now. It's an awesome design, the only thing is that you might have a problem trying to get it to pass through the singleator on your bike, it's pretty wide, and also, the conecting pin is far longer than the regular pins, so it sticks out around 1/16 on each side of the chain. It would be nice if the stays are exactly the correct length that you didn't need a tensioner because of the half links, huh?
i made a custom 'chain keeper' for the singleator because it had those ubergay pinwheels, so if need be, ill make one to fit the bigger chain.
not having to use a tensioner would be awesome. but fuck horizontal dropouts, not a fan.

good thinking. not to knock you, but I didn't know how mechanical you were. I figured it would be an easy job to remedy it, but some people just don't try stuff sometimes. Have you ever tried an mrp tensioner pulley wheel on one of those yet?
nah, i have one at work though. if it doesnt work, the mrp will be next i think. its fucking orange though.

you could always order a new one if it works well enough, they come in black also. good luck

I run a 3/8" wide chain. To stabilize it nd to reduce wear on the teeth i run twin front chainrings. I stack two together and both of 'em fill up the space between the linkplates nicely.
That interlock chain looks like a big spring, like it'll stretch like a bungee cord. Is it true? I'd like to try one but i'm worried i'd end up with it being a few inches longer after a few pedalkicks.
they say on the site they they wont stretch at all. not 1mm.

A BIG SPRING??? So far mine is super durable. I weight in at around 220, and I do a loto of disaster stuff thats hell on chains, and it's holding up fine. I've only been running it for a few months, but it doesn't seem to be stretching at all to me so far. Also take into consideration that I'm running it on a single speed setup, no tensioner at all, just pure tension from the horizontal dropouts, and a set of bmx tensioners
