Roman or Rav, do you have any better idea on when the BT 6 will be out? Is it leaning more towards april, or sometime in early march?

In case it will be a long time, what does everyone recommend for a frame- 1090 pitbull, control, or levelboss? I haven't heard much about the first two.

if i had a to make a choice right now, it would be a toss up between the control and hte Lb. prolly the control because its $100 cheaper. prolly not the pitbul but waht do i know

Bryan
02-13-2005, 04:58 PM
hm, on webcyclery the control is only $25 less. Would you still go for that over the LB?

If nothing unexpected happens the frame should definately be here by end of March. Hopefully it will be at the start of March or end of April.

Will the ninja cost more than the 6.0? If it goes for the same price, damn, that geometry is perfect!

Ninja....WTF...........1100 with 360 stays sounds crazy. interesting to see if anyone could actually ride something like that?

Elan
02-13-2005, 05:57 PM
its callled a ninga because it has 109X balance.

id probably still go control over LB, but thats just because i used to have a LB and would want to try somthing different. the LB is probably the safest investment in the trials world though.

Ninja....WTF...........1100 with 360 stays sounds crazy. interesting to see if anyone could actually ride something like that? That reach is 35mm longer than 1090mm with 385 stays. I dont quite understand why you'd want starys that short though, I definately wouldnt go beyond my 375's.
Pushin limits is always good though.

*Looking at my bike* BT5.0, DX32, 24.1 2.2"

There is about 25 mm between the bb shell and tire. 360 is definately possible... obviously

40mm bb rise..thats a lot. 360 chainstays seems weird and not really necessary but also sounds completely necessary. thats gonna be a lot of reach. oh well, someone needed to some out with some different geometry. sounds good. need pics.

What kinda stem would you guys use with that +40mm bb? Mod stem or 15 degree rise??? There clearance sounds cool, but would have to Vinco it out to get a stable bike?

Something with 20°-30° rise and 130mm length.

I took this Raven 6.0 proto's pics
it's my best friend's bike
It's a really funny bike, really easy to ride, very nervous on statics
But i hope on the public version the CS will be larger cause Maxxis High Roller 2.5 doesnt work....
