what's a good front v brake set up.... that would give me enough power. I tried the spanish v pads, awesome, but I think I'm going deaf from dragging the brake during roll downs cuz it screams like crazy. What's good powerful pads that won't kill my ears? anything I can do to the rim to make brake more powerful without adding crazy brake sounds?

thanx

I have used Red Koolstops forever. Replace them maybe once a year. I haven’t had any trouble with wheel lockup; just keep the pads incredibly parallel to the rim. Also, use a brake booster. I had an old Gorilla sitting around and slapped it on my Knifen. It feels great.
