I don't think you should buy these gloves . I heard tey are not realy .... solid, tey're maybre ocmpfortable but you'll have 2 change them in 2 months ! I bought Fox Gloves, with a fake leather in, they're really great !! -> Red and black. You sould tink about it, i have'em for 1 year !

just buy some cheaper gloves, you dont have to have special try all ones to ride, just grab a cheap pair that feel nice.

Fox Sidewinder, X-Gaymes (so I hear), Bosco Figures, Hebo are all good. I hear Koxx gloves are meant for exactly that, Koxx. (read: Pen15)

Have you ever used boscos? Ive had one pair, they feel really nice, but they are honestly the thinnest gloves Ive ever used, more like a cloth latex glove than anything else. It takes a month before holes start showing up everywhere. But mototrials guys and Hans Rey Love these things. They wear way too fast for most people to use though.

Hebos are alright, they dont have the ridiculous knuckle finger padding you get with most gloves, and they are alot thinner than most gloves too.

Tell me about it...depends on your hand but I've tried about four different pairs & they all gave me bad bad blisters. I switched to Specialized...now I need to get something that can breathe now that the temperature is going up.

Get what fits...not what brand.

I used Boscos for about a year with Soyos and in the end there were a few holes about the place. I just liked the tight feeling of them :greddy:

Davke just get large or medium and im sure you'll be fine, the only way to really know sizing is to try them on.

Try-all bars are top of the pops.

I ride with a cheap ass pair of REI gloves...who cares bout gloves?????? Make your hands into gloves with a little wear and tear...your fingers already have pads and you can make callused pads round your palm. Half-fingereds're sweet cause of the airation factor

All of the Adelaide riders wear black Fox Incline gloves, they're cheap and good. The main reason i use them is because of the minimal amount of neoprene used in them (my skin has an allergic reaction to neoprene).

inclines are where its at, they die after a ffew months but they are the best gloves i have ever used and you look radical because they are black and not all european with loud reds and yellows etc.

And they come in mute colors like olive green, black, and mayby brown? No, that's probly the Hesh. But yea, those palms and index to thumb webbing are the best. Incline!!!!!!

and if you like freaky light for hot weather try the 661 raji (sp?) it's like having a single mm of fabric for the palm and jersey material on the backhand. It moves moisture so well that your hands never get that steamer feeling.

Helmet optional for AK thugs as well. Hell, why wear any protective clothing at all, just grow a big fuzzy coat of fur and claws,.. and ,.. oh,. nevermind.

I would reccommend the Lizard Skins G-LOVE (20.00). They are super comfy and seem to be fairly durable. If you want something that is a bit heavier but will last A LONG time try out the Blue Phoenix (30.00). You can see em at lizard skins.com. Good Shit...all us SLC ladies ride with them

These post dates aren't THAT bad. It's not like when people dig up 3-year old posts.

But anyways, I've got half-fingered gloves (is that what they're called?) right now, and I'm wondering if I should go full-fingered. Any benefits? Other than getting a killer "tan" and smelly hands?

marker
07-27-2005, 07:05 PM
I think your tan would be killer, I'd rather have a full glove tan. Grip on the lever with some gloves is the only benefit I see.
