Hey guys,
I might be going to Sydney or Melbourne for 3 weeks in March. I'm thinking about bringing my trials bike. I'll probably stay at a hostel. does anyone work in a bike shop? I'm thinking about leaving my bike in a shop overnight so it won't get stolen. does anyone know of a shop that would do that that is near or in downtown? I'll be staying at the Sydney hostel downtown and would like to be close to it. I'd be happy to pay them per night that they hold it. Let me know if anyone knows of a shop.
Thanks,
Ken

hehe I know one, its like fleet street cycles or something, I would know how to get there if you dropped me in sydney, but I dont know the exact adress or anything. there are some people who ride trials there, its a cool shop. multi-levular. have fun, its an awesome town and definately not a shortage of riders there.

hahaha its funny that you know more about that trip than i do, and you make the "its funny because" jokes lol you were there in spirit Toby!

Yes well i reckomend sydney solely on the weather..... a lot warmer than melb.

If you stay in the city, well no trials rider lives in the city, and Dave who Paul (magamomid) met has now left clarence st cyclery....
A better idea would be if you stayed at a hostel in say coogee or something, Coogee beach backpackers, Wizard of Oz are a couple i name name off the top of me head... Plus there are a few trialsers that live near coogee and i work down there atleast once a week.
I might be able to work out for you to leave your bike at my shop in coogee... ill get back to ya on that.
But i do reccomend stayin at a beach than the city, much better experience for ya, and i cant even begin to explain the women.... ;)
So yeah definitely keep us posted on ya plans and we will do our best to help ya out.
Peace

Thanks for the info,

Peace, do you work at a bike shop in Coogee? I'll definetely look into staying out there instead. Sydney hostel is the only place i've ever stayed so never really consider other places(not knowing the city too well). But ya, hotties at the beach scantly clad is pretty much at the top of the sight seeing list. I'll post when I'll be there once I actually buy the ticket and maybe we could hook up for a ride.
Cheers,
Ken

I'm coming from Seattle. Ya , I'm way past 18 That'd be great if i could lock my bike up at your shop, thanks. I ride a norco stock bike. I have a 32 tooth commuter gear on it so I can see the city on it as well. I'm hope'n march will be a nice time to come.
