I've been having alot of pain in my elbow lately. It has been going on for about a month and the pain steadily increases every time I ride. It is only in my left elbow and it is a steady throbbing that stays wiht me for a few hours after I ride. I ride an echo pure with an echo fork, handlebars, stem and grips. Any ideas on what this is from??

It's never happened before. The best way i can desribe it is like havign an extremely severe case of tennis elbow. I know what that is like because Ive had that in my right arm. I guess I could go to a doctor. So far ive just been icing it and using advil.

I had that pain really bad early on. Quit riding for a week and start up slow it finally went away.

Glucosamine didn't do shit. It's just part of the learning exp.

Basically your right about the tennis elbo...what you have more than likely is inflamation or rupturing of the lateral Epicondyle & tricep tendon witch in a nutshell is tennis elbo. I had the same problem when I started doing bigger up's and gap's it put's an extreme amount of stress on those tendon's and ligament's. I went to an orthopedist friend of mine and told him about the whole trials thing and showed him my arm position and he laughed and told me I was going to be eating with my feet when I'm 60! Ice,rest is your best bet you can get one of those pressure band's but I rode with one and it didnt do shit. you will get those tendons stretched and use to the motion and stretching eventually and this doesnt happen with everyone , BUT DONT PUSH YOURSELF! once things start to go bad there surgery is your only bet.
