Was a good comp, kick ass elite sections made for some good spectating...

Big thanks to all of the interstate riders who made the trip across - in particular the Sydney and Canberra guys, its a fair way to come for one day's riding... :)

I haven't been to Eildon so I don't know what it's like, but for those who have: Is Port Elliot a better venue? I doubt it would ever be able to be held there, but still....

Well here are the results, I'm guessing most people already know these as YOU WERE THERE. Goddamn I wish I wasn't so poor............

Anyways back to the topic, these results are thanks to a very pissed Mitch Ho and Adam Macbeth so I've only got patchy results at this stage, which are:

Elite 26"
1st Adam Kelly 4
2nd Andrew Dickey 5
3rd Joe Brewer 7

Sport 26"
1st Adam MacBeth 4
2nd Zoli 5
3rd Chris Quain 7

I can't wait till I can see some footage!

thus is why, we stayed for 5 days! got pissed, abused a Hibiscus tree, used the massive backyard shade cloth thing for storage, drank 8 cases of beer and 2 bottles of southern comfort, ran naked (not personally) around the Horseshoe lawn bowls clubs lawns, played call on me about 600000 times too many.... im sure i will add to this later...

Oh and we rode a lot too!

there was wasted beer (sam you drunk) brain numbing speech spillich from simon k's mouth! hehehe all up it was the greatest weekend! and everyone is VERY dissapointed in you melb riders turnout.... cmon next year you better double our turnout!

I just hope port elliot will have us back...

(this is just a copy/paste of my austrials post)

I was so happy that AK won.. and deservedly so. For those who don't know him, he is one of the nicest and most modest riders you could ever meet.

As Chrisco put it, "Isn't it funny how the guy that won was the only one in Elite to have a seat (/chair)??" Simple bike (hand painted, v-brakes, Azonic bars, Hope bulb etc), simple guy, simply the smooooothest rider I know.

Anyway the scores given by Garth for sport were wrong.. Adam Macbeth was on 14 dabs, the rest I don't know.

ELITE 26" (just thought I would give the bottom half)
8. Peace McCormack
9. Alex Markwart
10. Mitch Ho
11. Alex Pentony-Vran
12. Kleat Wilson

This was my first comp in elite, I was happy just to finish and get at least one clean :) Riding with the best of the best, there is no way I could ever expect to do well anytime soon. While all of it was do-able it was hard to ride at 100% with the sun shining ever so strong.

ELITE 20"
1. Craig Pearce
2. Rob Smith
3. Daniel Mitchell

SPORT 20"
1. Steve Huxter
2. Brett Smith (might have these next 2 mixed up.. not sure)
3. Ian Holmes

NOVICE
1. Kyle Talbot
2. Andy Huang

Cheers to Huxter and everyone who helped set up, Stu for trophies and all for coming. The after party was more like a "Sydney/Canberra + Chris Dorgan big pissup". As Peace says, "5 days, 8 cases and 2 bottles of Southern Comfort later..."

OT.NET SPECIAL BONUS TEXT--- thanks to Peace for getting us what was possibly the best house we could have.. it was comfy as. After Simon kheifetreal just told me how they hid the bottles in the roof (via trapdoor in roof), I sincerely DO hope Port Elliot will have us back...

"Call PV.. call PV...." (to the tune of "Call on me" lol :))

lol, i am going to get my friend who has Cubase (sound editing program) to see if we can edit "Call on me" so it says "Call PV". But you canberra people are probably better at editing stuff that i am, give it a shot, it would be hilarious

01-27-2005, 06:32 PM
well he didnt waste his beer but did waste others, you know how if you tap the top of somones beer with the bottom of yours, it makes it go all fizzy and overflow..... well a lot of that was goin on. The house smelt bad in the mornin...
