so my friend is looking into getting into trials, and has $700 to spend on a mod bike unless anyone has an amazing reason he should go stock, cause he and i do some freeriding together. His parents wont let him buy used so it has to be new. thanks a bunch.

Mines used, btu I have an Echo Team Long for sale. $825 shipped(does need a rear crossover hose), its used, but in very good condition, used less than 2 months.

BT Raven, if he's tall enough. Cheap frame, and you can make up a decent bike for under 1000, if you know loads of tricks. Nowhere new parts though.

Monty 220 Hydra. It has a pretty nice part selection. $600. Everything you need to get started. I hear they are great bikes to learn on.

Just letting him know about the options. Shoot me.
Knowing mod pricing has yet to hurt me.
