ok well i have wcs grips at the moment. but i was wondering if there are any other grips out there that are nice without gloves and dont get sweaty to easy? are there any rubber grips that are good with no gloves as i prefer the firmer feel (how gay did that sound http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif ).
THANKS

I dunno, I stopped riding with gloves in the summer when I noticed what a savage glove tan I had. Pretty much all grips I have tried feel pretty good.

OW.
I've got massive calluses from riding with gloves, I'd hate to see what my hands looked like without.

^ even tougher.
I sweat so easy on my palms that it'd slip...no way I can ride without gloves...
As for the topic perhaps the Mechanix? Not sure...I haven't tried very many but that's one I can think of...

I have rode always with no gloves and I have found foam grips like try alls work well. but rubber ones do get slick and hard to grip when you sweat.(velos)

Roadie tape works ok. Why not just wear gloves?

^^ he rides insufficiently hard. I get salt crystals forming on my bars and fork from the sweat dripping. I need no KY after dark.

I went riding last night with the Oury grips without gloves and my hand didn't slip once. They're a bit thick a grip for trials though. I guess if you could find a similar grip with that compound/pattern it'd work well.....

I run the tryall foam grips without gloves. They work well, much better than rubber.

I also have salt crystal mania, helmet straps, bike, the works. I scrape it off my helmet onto potatos. I also ride sufficiently hard. Though not often.

biking without gloves isn't that bad -- i have these soyo thin-ies that used to eat up my hands everytime i went riding... now its not so bad since the calluses have settled in. But i've never had my gloves stink -- then again i have 3 pairs haha
oakley factory pilot, 661 bagley, and some MotoX gloves.

If your gloves stink, you wash them. It's surprising how sick they can get. But I have rubber grips, so no gloves is a bad thing until I get some new ones. But I have such good grip with my gloves and the rubber grips..........meh.
Plus the strange looking tan is interesting, people think you're sick.

I use these, they're "Grab-on" grips, the model is called the Mtn-2. they're pretty thin, but not as thin as my try-all foamies, and they're also firm, not too squishy like most foam grips, also they are really comfortable, as they're hex shaped, not round, and an added bonus is that they are half the weight of most other grips(rubber ones anyhow) and cheap too.

I had those as my grips when I first got my bike(grab-ons). GREAT grips. Problem with those is they leave black shit all over your hands afterwards. They're great and firm, and thin, and light. But after you have black shit all on your hands, you kinda wish you wore gloves. I can't remember slipping around with them though.....I do know that they wore down pretty easily though....
